Mallika Nivasa Samithiya (Society) Ltd., was founded in 1920 by Ms Mallika Hewavitarane, mother of the illustrious Anagarika Dharmapala. It is a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), which is strongly committed to providing destitute elderly women and abandoned, underprivileged and orphaned children with care and shelter.
